Hey guys! Just tonight found this site and thought I would be get involved. My wife and I are expecting our first child on February 29, 2008. Anyone else out there in the same boat? Seems to be so many sites and forums dedicated to the mothers but not many to the guys. I look forward to meeting you all!

Congrats on the leap day Baby. Iím in a similar boat as you in that Iím expecting my first on November 25th. I hope you and your wifeís sake she doesnít have morning sickness. When my wife was as far along as yours is our house and life was a wreck. She was so sick she couldnít do anything around the house and I just couldnít keep up with the housework.

I can only guess that most expecting fathers donít really have that much to talk about and thatís why not many post to this board.

Thanks for the response. Actually she has been suffering pretty heavily from the morning sickness. Hit about 3 weeks ago very hard and has eased up just a bit. She just has to learn to not overdue the eating and remember to keep food in her belly at all times. She hit week 9 this past Friday so hopefully in the next few weeks, she will get past this stage and get into the second trimester. In the meantime, I'm ankle deep in laundry, dishes and everything else. But it's the least I can do. LOL

I'm sorry for you and your wife. At week 9 my wife was also about 3 weeks into her morning sickness. I think thats when it started to become unmanageable for me, by week 14 I was looking on craigslist for maids. Thank god it went away around week 16. I hope it doesn't last that long for you and your wife.
I know the women around here will say that we have nothing to complain about but it can suck for us too.

Hey Cubs! Welcome to the board.

We're due Valentine's Day so I'm sure we'll have a lot to talke about and Lurker can give us a heads up on what to expect.

The wife is having her third, so she pretty much has everything under control and issues warning about what to expect each day.

Morning sickness wasn't bad, but the moodiness and tiredness is driving me batty.
