Any dads/dads to be out there? I feel like I'm floating on an inner tube through the estrogen ocean.

mmm the replies were probably mostly from women who were just lurking (like me!) you should try PMing the daddies who have posted in here and once were also trying to get the board active again... maybe they'll come back?

Maybe they will if I promise beer and free food.

James,
My just signed up for an account, his sn will be PsychMike (Psych is one of his majors), but he just went back to his Mom's and I'm waiting for his confirmation to come through. It's been like 20 minutes and it hasn't yet. I don't know what the deal is. We talking about it, and he's def. going to be checking ou this board, Gamers, WTTC, and whatever else he finds and likes.. he's just not allowed in Private Matters in WTTC.

I came in here lurking to see if he'd have any "friends" when he came in.

IDK what to do because his confirmation e-mail hasn't arrive yet, and I'm trying to get him set up so he can post when he has free time tonight. It's just not working.

~Michelle

I also can't find him any DaddyWannabe or anything similar for Blinkies.

I'm here! We can talk about manly things like sports and beer now.

Or we can have real conversations that I'll know what I'm talking about in. Games are always a personal favorite. I'm becoming more and more involved in politics. I love current events and issues. And hey, we could always talk about the whole parenting thing. Seems like there's some kind of theme about that here.

But seriously, start a conversation and I'll probably get involved.

What kind of games? I like games.

I hate politics, but I love ranting about them.

How's this for a discussion:

What's the dumbest romantic, or romantic attempt, thing you've ever done?

I walked about four miles (two up, two back) in a thunderstorm with pouring rain in 35 degree weather with high winds, without an umbrella, to see Allison (xNiceGirl) and tell her I love her.

I was lurking to see who was on since MY DH Troy (iamthatnerd) just joined. He is going to be more of a lurker though. He doesn't get online that much since he is on all the time for work stuff.

Just about any kind of video game. Right now, especially WoW, any Wii game, and a few others I'm waiting anxiously for.

And as for the dumbest romantic thing...

Probably any of the number of times I've gone some place for Michelle when my tremors were acting up. She doesn't usually know

I met my S/O on a gaming forum. We met out of our fondness for Halo2 LOL.

We decided to SEE each other before saying we're in any kind of relationship, or even thinking about it really. So we met for the first time in July last summer at an MLG Convention.

WoW absorbs people and never gives them back. I've had enough addictions on my list, so I've made sure to keep WoW off it.

I'll confess: I'm a WoWer. But not too bad.

You'd probably love the internship I'm doing.

Agh. I'd be happy just being part of that program period.

I'm going to be doing a lot of environmental stuff soon. That's about as good as it gets for me.

I love it. I love working with the kids. But sometimes I worry I'm given too much control. I worry about screwing up things. I mostly run the middle school and high school groups, which I think are harder. Trying to get a teenager to do something makes me want to smack myself sometimes. That, or I just suck at it.

No, teenagers are just that troublesome. It's getting worse.
