Anyone else feel it? I felt it at 5 something this morning because I had just gone back to bed after putting Sam to sleep. And we're almost in OH! It certainly wasn't very hard shaking but it was wierd and I thought it felt like what I thought a small earthquake would feel like but thought I was silly because I didn't think we had them in Indiana. I completely forgot about it until about 15 minutes ago when we shook again and I could hear my glasses rattling in the kitchen cabinets so I Googled and sure enough an earthquake at 5:37 in IL and large aftershock at 11:15 although they are seeing if it's a second quake. IMO the second one was stronger. So that's my excitement for today!
haha. Uhm.. it wasn't so bad here in Pekin. It was 4:37 our time.. I was lying there half asleep and heard my lamp on my bedside table rattling. Then I realized the bed was shaking.. I waited until it had almost stopped and poked Jared and said "Jar.. earthquake.." and he mumbled "good call honey" and then proceeded to mock me when we woke up. "Oh yeah.. there was an earthquake last night.." until I googled it and showed him. hah! The aftershock BARELY woke me up. But yeah.. fun fun! It's exciting. hahaha.
It didn't wake my DH up either. He probably would have said the same thing except I forgot about the whole thing until the aftershock came and that's when I remembered and looked it up. He was at work by then and had heard about it there.
