What a relief after reading some of these posts. I thought I was the only one with crazy in-laws. I had my daughter on April 7. After being induced the evening before and laboring for 20 hours, the dr tells me. You are going to need a c-section. She is not cooperating and her she is showing signs s of distress. Well my in-laws were at the hospital all day while I was being induced. Knowing I wanted to do this naturally and that it meant alot to me to do so. My MIL response was well about time. Besides its less work for you and I can see the baby faster. So I am now crying and she keeps nagging telling me how I will have the c-section then I will be in recovery and that dont keep the baby in recovery with you, have her come to the room. I want to see her. Ummm no!!! I want to hold her and bond first. Not you! She was at the hospital every day telling me how to do this how to hold her dont breast feed its pointless... BLAH BLAH BLAH!

Addison will be 4 weeks tomorrow. Today is the first day she has not come over. Honestly shes lucky shes not here today I might loose it. She totally dismisses anything I say. Do not give her a pacifier, I turn around she has one in her mouth. Shes hot she doesn't need a blanket, turn around she has a fleece blanket on her. What is wrong with this women? To top it off shes a smoker and a heavy one at that. They smoke in the house, in the car with the windows up and it smells like a dirt ash tray in there house. Why don't I want to bring my daughter there???? HMMM let me think. Well to be nice we tried and they thought smoking in the bedroom was ok? Definatley not. WE ARE NEVER GOING OVER THERE AGAIN UNTIL THEY QUIT!

THis really turned into a vent! Thank you for listening.

Oh my! I'm soooo lucky my MIL wasn't at the hospital. Having a c/s is hard enough, (I know) without getting that kind of grief! I do hope that she didn't get her way. Welcome to this forum. I hope you come back often!
