Okay, I just bought quite a few nice clothes fron Lane Bryant. But I bought summer stuff, shorts, capris and that kind of stuff. My problem is, my SIL's memorial service is tomorrow, 3 and a half hours away. It's going to cost quite a bit in gas to get there and I don't have the money to buy anything to wear to the funeral. My question is do you think it would be appropriate to wear nice, dark brown capris and a nice dark brown short sleeved shirt? Please, any input would be greatly appreciated!
What are others you know wearing? That's the best way to guage what is appropriate. I would think that would be fine but if everyone else is going to be in dresses you might feel uncomfortable, kwim? Make a couple calls and then go from there.
Thanks girls. I think it'll be fine too, I just kind of wanted another opinion. DH's family is pretty trashy (sorry, they just are), so I don't think it'll be a problem with me feeling uncomfortable. It's going to be so awkward. I'm just dreading it so much.
