When did you see them last?
When will you see them again?
Are they causing you any problems?

The last time I saw my in laws was the Monday before Christmas. Who knows when the next time will be???? It is usually a good while before they ask when we'll be around or if they can come down. Knock on wood everything has been okay with them-it's my family that is being a huge pain in the butt now

When did you see them last?
MIL I saw on Friday. FIL and SMIL have not been seen since June.

When will you see them again?
MIL I will probably see today. The others won't be seen until they decide to adjust their attitudes.

Are they causing you any problems?
MIL is not, but the others are only not causing problems because we have made no effort to have communication with them. FIL called DH at Christmas and vaguely suggested they meet for lunch or something, but DH didn't suggest anything definite. FIL and SMIL are sort of anti-me and that means DH is anti-them.

Are they causing you any problems? Not at the moment. I just hope they are actually helpful after Nolan gets here.

Today
Tomorrow, they're in-state now through April. yay me.
my MIL is upset I didn't openly invite her to my baby shower today. Um, she did get invited and chose not to respond to the invitation. Not my place to check with all invitees. I'm still reeling from their unexpected visit at Christmas.

Oh and you know how some people talk in really cutesy, high-pitched tones to babies? Yeah, she's still doing that with Sam and he's 3.5. I have high-pitched hearing, I generally can tell when something electronic is on or hear brakes squealing before I see the car. So this baby talk with Sam actually does hurt my ears.
