I can't stand my in laws. As if there was any doubt! We went yesterday for our Christmas visit and they were constantly down Nate's throat. Do this. Don't do that. Stop doing that. Yelling constantly at whatever he was doing. It was driving me crazy and I wanted to pinch there heads off their necks. I hate it when other people, especially them yelling at him and bossing him around.

Wow, like my ILs!! They expect babies to sit, be quiet, and don't touch ANYTHNG. Right from birth. We've had issues with this too. Especially when they took the batteries out of her toys so they could hear the tv!!

Um....There are actually grandparents like that out there? You mean they're not all the types to ENCOURAGE misbehaviour, loud noise, hyperactivity, and constipation from all the treats they feed them?

I'm floored!

But in all honesty, I'd be sooooooo annoyed at that too! WTH? Aren't grandparents supposed to be leanient and let grandchildren get away with murder? I'd be tempted to say "You know what? If you're so **** annoyed with the child, we're leaving, and not coming back until you get a f****** reality check!"
Then storm off leaving them open-mouthed and shell shocked!

Ahhhh...wouldn't it be nice if every conversation with the in laws could be like that?
