Good? I USED to think they at least gave a flying **** about the health and safety of dd. Now I know THATS not even true. As much as they claim and appear to care, ultimately, they are only interested in themselves and making sure THEY enjoy their time with her. They aren't so concerned about how what they do affects her or anything that they do that might be unsafe just so long as they have fun and are allowed to continue to see her.

Case and point, my ILs travel with what could only be described as a small personal pharmacy. Between the two of them they probably have 25 or so perscriptions. Anyway we have told them time and again "keep it out of reach of dd, please put it up high, put it in the medicine cabinet or on the back of the counter where she can't get it" So what happened this weekend when they visited? Your guess is as good as mine, but heres what dd said to me the other day when I asked her to not to put one of her toys in her mouth, "Grandma says no no spit it out! Spit it out! Spit out GRandmas medicine!" For reals. I nearly **** a birck. I haven't SAID anything to grandma yet. But she'll definately be hearing about it.

What is the bad? Don't even get me started on those people.

OMG that is scary! I would flip out!

Good, um...I guess that they are a close family?

Bad - I don't even want to get started on that one.

Good - They are really proud of DH and what he is doing with his life.

Bad - The way that they treat DH's brothers so much better, how they treat Kyleigh

Good~ I guess they love their grandson even though they rarely ever make time for him or offer to watch him.
They buy him clothes when they go the casinos(there an outlet mall nearby)

Bad~ how much time have you got? hee hee

They are crazy
selfish
self absorbed
all about money
MIL is a hypochondriac(sp)
nosey
fil is on FB and he always tags my pictures of my son and makes them into his profile pic
they just brag about their grandson to everyone and just really lay it on thick
they think they are the best grandparents in the world
they treat Dh like crap and treat BIl like he's special(he's the baby)

This is the one that makes me the maddest.Last year in June DH was deployed to Iraq. They had a send off ceremony at Camp Shelby and his parents were going down to see it AND they were going to Biloxi for a night to go to the casinos.DH asked them to watch our son (who was 1 at the time)overnight because I had to have him back on base at 6 am and it would have made things so much easier for me.But MIL said that wouldn't work because he would be crying for his mama and he wouldn't get any sleep and she wouldn't get any sleep and then she would have a headache and not be happy. And you know they didn't watch him for us and they still didn't get their lazy butts up in time to be there by 9 am.They called and told me they were going on to Biloxi....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrr
