Luckily, my in-laws live too far away for us to get together this weekend. But for those of you who are seeing the IL's, how are you surviving?

We don't celebrate Easter, but DH went to the ILs yesterday. By himself.

My inlaws live really far away, so we didn't get to see them for Easter. I know DH was missing them, and I feel bad about that, but I'm glad that I didn't have to go.

Like you others, we live here and they live there. Sigh, it costs so much we can not go there.

Just moved from 12 minutes away to 12 hours away less than two months ago so Aww. . . we had to celebrate with my family. Of course, DH's mother went with her 'friend' to see his children in VA so even if we had been there, DD would have been the last person on DH's mother's mind. She went to NY with her 'friend' for Thanksgiving (a week after DD was born) because she preferred seeing strangers to meeting her only grand daughter for the first time. Oh well, so glad all of our holidays will be here from now on and she will be far, far away.
