WIERD!! LOL ...well honestly they were nice and very nosey! (I guess I don't blame them) I was very independent and found it very odd for the constant daily check ups. lol

Redneck/white trash

I know that sounds awful, but it's true, and it's even how DH sees his family. Four families living on one property betwen two trailers and one house. Animals everywhere, animal mess everywhere, Piles of trash and random metal objects laying all over... I felt instantly out of place!

Mine were kind during our first meeting. It was a little tense and a lot nerve-wracking because they had spent a year believing untrue things about me and about the circumstances of dh and I's relationship. Based on the handful of emails sent to us by them during that time I wasn't expecting much in the way of a welcome. They were kind, though, and I think meeting me in person helped ease a lot of the concerns they had in the first place. I don't want to go into detail in a public forum, but my relationship with them has come a long way.

I don't really remember. I was too preoccupied by what they might be thinking.

They were really nice. Their house was soooo gross, but I felt bad for them cause they seemed like such good people... little did I know.
