We do dinner with both our families. We went to his parents' first where we announced our plans to foster parent. It went over REALLY well. I knew they'd be supportive. I was surprised at their excitement though.
After his families dinner, we went to my Uncle's and ate. That went fairly well. My aunt who hasn't spoken a word to me in more than two years actually said "hi" to me. It was a short, curt "hi" and she didn't stick around long enough for me to even reply, but it's progress I guess. I really don't like her anyway, never have.
Thanks to Jaidynsmum for my siggy!
