My MIL is always willing to watch the kids as long as she does not have to work or if it isn't a golf or bowling day for her. We only have a minivan and it isn't really economical with the price of fuel for us to have me drive my DH to work and pick him up the next day, plus I would have to get the kids up at 5:30am to do that. So if my DS has therapy and DH is working, she is always willing to take us. She loves spoiling all the grandkids, not just the biological ones. My other 2 children are as welcome as the rest. When they had their 40th wedding anniversary and it was announced in the local paper, my older children were also included in the write-up.
