and they take a mile! grrrrrrrr I had to invite DH's pushy, loudmouth aunt and (very nice) uncle to come for his birthday (Monday) and I just got a phone message they are arriving TODAY, for dinner, staying 3 days and staying in our house- they were supposed to bring thier 5th wheel to sleep in and stay for 1 night. I am NOT prepared, DH is working all day and I think our baby is teething (fussy, poor sleeping) I dont have the groceries to feed them or the spare room set up.
I am NOT looking forward to the next few days............

Honestly, I would tell them exactly what you wrote here and suggest a few good hotels in the area.

If you just take this from them, they're going to think they can do it again and again. AND you're going to be mad and resentful.

JMO...sorry to butt in.

Thanks for the replies asianmama and Haileysmommy! sometimes it just feels good to whine on JM know what I mean?
I lived through the visit, actually it wasnt as bad as the last time they came. they were so thrilled with the baby I got a lot less "advice" than normal.

altough she did try to "show me a better way to breastfeed", pardon? she never breastfed in her life........that was a little wierd
