MIL's birthday was yesterday and I forgot. Not that I'm that sorry because my own b-day card was over a week late (and I didn't even get one the previous 2 years). My parents were here so I even forgot to tell DH to call her! Nope, still don't feel too bad.

And does this sound a little strange to you? This last week DH called her and she was like, "I don't really have time to talk, I'm in FL." She went to Disney World with her sister and nieces. She goes and visits them quite a bit more than she visits us even but I always thought it mostly was because her mom lives with them and has been in ill health. She's never mentioned wanting to go to Disney World with us and Samuel (you know, her only grandchild), or really much of anywhere. To me that's just strange.

That is kind of odd that she's never mentioned going with her only grandkid. My parents can't wait to be able to go with us and Ian.
