I took my radioactive iodine pill this morning. The dr. (nuclear med) said he could tell by looking at me in the waiting room I was hyper. I am in the basement on my "vacation". yippee...not. He said I could use my phone and the lap top as long as I didn't spit or pee on them...I think I can handle that ....I can go back to semi normal on Monday morning....but still no kissing or sleeping with my baby but I can stay home with him like normal, etc....just still be mindful to be somewhat careful.

Oh hun I'm so sorry. Do you have to use paper plates and disposable cups/utensils? Make sure you eat lots of yummy comfort foods!

I am using paper plates and plastic forks. My husband is filling my steak n shake cup with water from another cup and after this is over I'll throw the steak n shake cup away. Nathan seems to be doing well. He is playing with my mom and he comes to the top of the stairs every once in a while to show me something and ask what I'm doing. I just tell him that I had to take a pill this morning and it could make him sick so mommy has to stay down here for a few days. At least I can see him...that helps so much.. I look like a total wackooooo...if anyone saw me...I am wearing purple nitrile exam gloves when I'm on the computer just because I'm ocd and want to be extra careful

Been drinking tons of water to flush it out of my system faster and eating lots of lemon drops to keep it out of my salivary glands.

All in all it's not as bad as I expected I just hope it continues going well especially with Nate. Thanks to everyone for the well wishes.
