What type of thyroid disorder do you have?
What type and dose of meds do you take?
What tricks to you use to remember to take them at the right time?

I have hypothyroidism triggered by pregnancy, I was diagnosed just over a year ago.

I was bad with the BCP back in the day but taking Levotyroxine (125mcg) a day is worse b/c I always remember to take it as I'm eating. I try to take it on my way to work in the mornings or before bed if I forgot. I'm getting better at it, I just hate that I'm not supposed to take it an hour before or 2 hours after I eat.

Well not sure if I'd be considered Hypo (Hashi's) anymore or not seeing that I had my thyroid removed in July.

I'm taking 300 mcg of Synthroid because my thyroid hormones are still WAY out of whack after my surgery.

I take my meds when I come home from work at 6:30 in the morning.

What type of thyroid disorder do you have? Hypo/Hashi's
What type and dose of meds do you take? Armour, 120 mg
What tricks to you use to remember to take them at the right time? I take mine immediately upon waking... it's the first thing I do after I pee first thing in the morning. I also have a day pill divider thingie, not sure what it's called but you know a pill box divided into days so that hopefully I'll notice if I do forget which I have maybe once since being dx back in Nov '07.

You know really consistency is the key so if you ALWAYS take it with food, I think you'd be okay... you'll just level out at a higher dose than if you took it on an empty stomach.

I'm hyperthyroid. I take 50mg PTU twice a day. It does not matter if you take it with food or not. I usually take it right before breakfast and right before dinner.

hypo here!

125 mcg levothyroxine

i take it first thing in the AM (and my prenatals right before bedtime) i don't usually eat breakfast so it's not a problem. back when i was working, i'd have them on my nightstand, set my alarm an hour early--i'd fumble around in the dark, take the pill, go back to sleep and then wake up, eat breakfast, and go to work. now that I'm a SAHM i don't really do breakfast...I take my pill first thing, and I have a mid morning snack or just lunch.

Hashimoto's
Levothyroxine 25mcg
I have it next to my bed and when I wake up with the alarm, I'll take it immediately. I don't normally eat breakfast, so it's not a problem. But it does suck when I'm hungry and I'll have just taken it 15 minutes before. But whatever, I just starve for about an hour, then eat! haha.

I have pregnancy triggered hypo.My TSH is lil off but i still havent been diagnosed with hypo.

I'm was taking 12.5 mg Synthroid. After 4 weeks, I started alternating the dose: every second day i was taking the whole 25 mg pill and now im still waiting for the last blood results but im taking 25 mg daily. My last TSH was 3.29 ( dropped from 3.99 in 3 weeks).
Im taking the Synthroid around 7am.My alarm is set for then ,plus my mom calls to remind me
I go back to bed when i can coz the supplement is making me nauseous.I try to eat 2-3 h later and im waiting for good 4 h before take my prenatals.

What type of thyroid disorder do you have? hypothyroidism

What type and dose of meds do you take? 88 mcg levothyroxine (after this 30-day supply I'm starting Synthroid though, my doc wants me to try the brand name)

What tricks to you use to remember to take them at the right time? I just take my pill first thing in the morning because I never eat anything during the first hour after I wake up
