J is for judge. My aunt died from a drug overdose a year ago, and the woman who sold her the drugs was in court yesterday. She pled guilty and will be sentenced in early Oct. My mom told me last night that we can submit a statement that will be read to the court during the sentencing hearing, so I have been working on that in my mind all day. I know that a lot of my relatives are very angry at this woman and want her to get the maximum amount of time, but I prefer to see her get rehabilitated. So my statement will be about how I hope she uses her jail time to turn her life around. She has two young daughters; I hope that she can become someone that her daughters will be able to respect and be proud of. My aunt left behind two college-age sons and a 13-year-old daughter. She will never be able to see her daughter in a prom dress, wedding gown, or delivery room, but I hope that the drug dealer will be able to see her daughters experience those things, and to help others like herself to turn their lives around as well.
Wow, sorry that was so long!

Rachel, WOW! I love your compassion though!

I don't know of anything "J" that I could use! Stacey, I'm just not good at these!
