Do you decorate your home/yard for Christmas?
How do you decorate? What do you do?

we dont really decorate that much, usually we just do the tree and i put decorations up on the mantle and then hang some icicle lights on the windows.we always go away to england to my mums for christmas so i never really make a massive effort as we are not going to be at home

We also don't do much. Our focus is primarily on Christ and not all the traditional Christmas decor.

We inherited a ton of Christmas decorations from my husband's grandma 2 years ago. Last year he insisted on putting most of them up because of the childhood memories; hopefully this year we won't go as overboard - I like to keep things simple; in the past we just had a simple 5-piece nativity scene and a few lights. The nativity scene we inherited from grandma is huge, with tons of camels and stuff - not my thing, but it means alot to DH so it'll go up even though I think it's tacky - actually, most of the decorations we inherited from her are kind of tacky, lol. We also have a bunch of those singing Hallmark snowmen that my FIL buys us every year, which I hate but the kids love so those will be out but I will try to keep them sequestered to the basement. They like to turn them all on at once

We put up a tree & hang stockings... that's about it! But I do love it!
