I had an ultrasound this morning. Everything looked great, baby is doing fine and there is not goiter or anything. I don't know if it is just crazy pregnancy hormones or what, but both of the perinatologists in this practice are hot!! Anyway, he looked at my paperwork and said that a lot of docs would freak out about my low TSH, but because my T4 was fine it didn't matter. He said that the placenta has moved and is no longer covering the cervix, so I can have a regular birth if I wanted, but I've decided to just go ahead with the C-section anyway since I am not a very good candidate for a VBAC. He gave me the go-ahead to have sex again, then said, "But I'll let you decide what to tell your husband, whether you tell him you are allowed to have sex or not". LMAO. I think DH will be too scared to anyway - he is always afraid he is going to hit something (he is, um, well-endowed).
The best part about the appointment was the ultrasound technician. She was sooo nice, and after she took all the measurements and everything she said, "Let's have a little fun" and took out the 4D thingie so I could see her face. She has these huge chipmunk cheeks, just like Luke did! I can't wait to squeeze them. I tried to scan the pics at work but we couldn't get it to work right - it turned out all pixelated and creepy-looking
Awww... I bet she is going to be absolutely adorable!!!
