So no one seems to carry Armour Thyroid anymore due to the shortage in the supplier or some thing like that. I am flipping out because I do not want to switch and yet I have no choice obviously! I have gone nearly 2 weeks undertreated and I know I have to get back on some thing. So I was wondering about ordering Armour from a canadian pharmacy. 100 pills for $50 however I am really nervous since I have no idea if they are legit. So now I am thinking on asking for a synthetic t4 and t3 combo only I have no idea what to ask for. I take 120mg of Armour. Any help here would be so appreciated. I know when I was on synthroid it made my symptoms worst so I was thinking on trying a synthetic form made by the same company as Armour.
After feeling like a pro of hypothyroidism for 8 years I am so clueless now as to what to do. Synthetic forms always make my symptoms worst...I didnt feel good at all until Armour. My hair was always falling out and so on. I am super nervous and freaking out.

Have you tried calling around to a compounding pharmacy? That is where I get mine. They have limited supplies, but I have filled it there two months in a row now, with no problems. I use The Medicine Shoppe, but if you use the yellow pages, google it,or ask a pharmacy in your area, you might find a compounding pharmacy. I, too, do not want to go back on Synthroid, so I know how you feel. Also, my Target pharmacy says they get some in from time to time, and you just have to call and check regularly with some pharmacies. I hope that helps, and I hope you will be able to find some place that carries it!

Get Naturethroid... it's the exact same thing as Armour, the only difference is that it comes from organic pigs. There are some shortages in some areas of Armour but it's only temporary & I wouldn't switch long term if you really like Armour.

Call all the chain stores in large cities, too. I've been switching back and forth between CVS & Walgreens. Someone always has it, and someone always doesn't. Oh, also ASK the pharmacy what dose the usually have in stock. You can call your doc and ask them to change your Rx. For example, I'm supposed to have two 60 mg (one, twice a day), so it could be changed to just one 120 mg or to four 30 mg. See what I mean? I haven't had to do that yet, but it's an option, and I know my doc sees that all the time.

Ditto!! I just keep calling different chains. So far, I've been able to get it.
