Krista, actually your story is a lot like mine!

I know I was hypo at least a yr before being dx & once I was dx I looked back at a few things & understood. Several months before being dx (about 6 I believe) I started working out b/c I was gaining so much weight but I couldn't lose any weight hardly. I lost maybe a pound a month so eventually decided that if I'm gonna be fat, at least I'm gonna be happy & quit the gym... I HATE working out but I do it b/c I gotta if I want to lose this weight.
Anyway, I actually was dx through infertility b/w... that's how I found out & actually I never suspected hypo until a few months before being tested when I started charting & found out my BBTs were low & according to TCOYF, low BBTs could be a sign of hypo... so I pushed for b/w which the dr actually said typically comes back normal but nope, not for me... TSH was 40-something.
Though I didn't have very many symptoms... slept a lot, cold all the time, hair falling out, weight gain/inability to lose weight... that's it.
