She reviewed my Thyroid US and Neck CT scan from a few months ago and said we'll do a followup ultrasound in October to keep an eye on the lymph and thyroid nodules.
She thinks I'm too far hyper on 175 and wants to redo all my levels before changing my dose since it hasn't been done since Sept. She said I do show physical signs of being on the hyper side - even though I 'feel' better being slightly hyper it's not good for my body and heart in the long run. She'll most likely bring be back down to 150 and retest in 6 weeks.
I liked her, she seems easy to talk to and smart. She's testing me for antibodies, all the tsh, t4, t3, etc. I'm glad to be in the hands of a specialist rather than a nurse practitioner.
That sounds wonderful!! Will she put you on something other than just T4? You may feel better on a lower dose of Levox if you had T3 to go with it. I know that it wasn't until I went on Armour, and now Naturethroid, that I finally felt good. It's amazing what a little T3 will do.
