Not sure if any of ya'll have graves but has anyone had any experience with getting pregnant once diagnosed? I'm being treated currently and my husband and I are waiting until it's under control and we're out of the desert lol I want a winter pregnancy dang it My summer one about killed me 113 lbs and 113 degree heat! OUCH

I was diagnosed with Graves in 2003 and received radioactive iodine treatment in 2004. I now take synthroid and have been able to get pregnant several times. Unfortunatley, I have never carried any past the first trimester (I am currently getting a bunch of tests to figure out why I keep m/c). From what I understand, the people who have a hard time getting pregnant are those with unstable levels. Please feel free to ask questions, I will help you if I can. Good luck!

Oh gosh My levels aren't under control yet, I just like thinking of a future instead. I thought after RAI or the surgery that maybe there wouldn't be complications I think I'm going to opt for the surgery though because I have a 9 month old and can't imagine living without her for the 10 day separation with RAI. What side effects are you seeing?
