Im sure Im not the only one but I get so SICK of the waiting with thyroid problems. Its always "change your dosage slightly and then wait 10 weeks to see if anything changes", then 10 weeks later "well that didnt help lets try something else, see you in 10 weeks", "hmm its getting worse lets go back to where we started from, 10 more weeks", "nope this dosage is still bad, maybe this will help, yep, you guess it, another 10 weeks". AHHHHH! Years pass and still waiting.

I know!!! When I was diagnosed they started me on .25 of synthroid and had me come back 6 weeks later, at which point I was still at a 36 for my TSH. Upped it to .50, come bck in six weeks.

When I moved the new PA I was seeing decided that I was under medicated based on weight. He upped my dose to .125, almos tdouble what I was taking. I was diagnosed in Dec and he did this in Aug/Sept, let me tell you the difference it made, it was amazing! I sure wish mopre doctors would dose based on weight!

I know exactly what you are talking about, since I felt the same way in the beginning of trying to get regulated! I know it can be SOOO frustrating, and you feel like you are getting nowhere. But, don't give up - it will get better! Try to make sure you take your meds "religiously" every day, and hang in there. Hope things get better for you soon!

oh trust me...i take mine religiously. I have alarms set (i take them twice a day since im on dessicated thyroid now). I have no thyroid so I cant just skip a dose and not notice it. If I am even late with a dose I feel it in the afternoon. But, on the plus side its getting better now that im off of synthyroid
