I chew gum, drink a lot of water, or drink A&W root beer.

Weird, I know. Usually I will get heartburn when my levels are off, and I assume that means my metabolism has slowed down, thus causing the heartburn. For me, I also know certain foods now trigger heartburn for me now that I'm in my 30's. (Nothing used to really trigger heartburn when I was younger, lol!) I know you said you don't eat that much that would cause it, so maybe you are indeed pregnant!

I could be way off base here, but I think I've heard sassafras helps relieve it?
