My name is Cathy, I'm 32 and am surprised to find that I am expecting a 3rd! My DS will be 8 and my DD will be 10 when the baby is born..wow I'm still processing this and trying not to panic!! My question is this: For those of you who have older children, how and when did you tell them? I have to watch myself on the computer and only read my pg books in the bathroom. I want to tell my DD now, becuase I think she could understand a m/c if it happens, but is it best to just spare her? I will wait to tell my DS until 12 weeks or so. Another reason I want to tell me daughter is that we do clogging together (Irish dance) and I think I am going to stop in fear of m/c, but how do I explain to her that mommy isn't dancing? What should I do and what have you done? Thanks so much!
