have your older sibling in the labour/delivery room?

I did not have my DD in the labour room when DS was born because she was totally not handling me in pain very well at all and that was only on the ride there and into administration so I decided she should go home with her aunt.

What about you?

I had a c-section with this baby, but, no way. I have boys, so maybe that's different...

my daughter was 12 when Ethan was born and I would have had her in the delivery room for a vaginal delivery but I had a section.

You know now that I bring this up I wish my DD could have been there for the experience. She would have loved it if she wasn't so worried about me in pain. Oh! well maybe the next baby if I have one.

I had a c section and with any other birthd would have a c section due to medical reason, so NO.

I wouldn't but then again my son is really sensitive and would be all upset about me being in pain.

That's why I chose not to have DD in the room. She is sensitive to people's pain as well.

I wouldn't have my son in the room with me. If he was a girl it is possible, but I really want to try a natural birth so I think it would be too hard on the child seeing me in pain.
