Where do you go for family vacations, where everyone will enjoy it, having such a gap in the kids ages?

We are going to Darin lake again this yr... We talked long & hard about this last yr... but after the talk my hubby agree'd that YES there is times when you have to do things seporate....

example: his daughter was just 4 & i thought she was to young to take her to darin lake & our state fair... for one there is ALOT of walking & people,, ( & honestly she don't listen well & like's to run off ) & she was still taking naps & we would all be seporated to do the rides....

This yr she will be 5 & is slowly ( very slowly ) learning not to run away from us when walking... even to the car... So we will see how she is come aug/sept & decide on the fair... BUT Darin lake is still out of the question because of being walking & seporated... We are also leaving the new born behind b/c not being able to go on the rides & having fun...

Other than as of Camping and stuff like that.. it's great to have a older one around for an extra set of eyes
