kids' gender and spacing what would you choose and why?

I think I would have like to have a boy than about 3-4 years later have a girl. I wouldn't have planned to have kids 12+ years apart.

with my first i SO wanted a girl b/c of the way the sperm donor was i did not want another HIM running around ...you know.....

with this Trisha wasn't planned BUT i SO wanted a boy b/c of the way my hubby is with his daughter i DID NOT / (and refuse) to have him do the same with her,i have already set both him & his daughter streight about that

15 yrs apart is not my choice... but i won't change a thing
