So I have kind of lurked on this board for months and never posted. But here I am now.

Hi~

My name is Carol (31), wife to Bryan (28), mom to Stephanie (9~to turn 10 September 2), and soon to be mom to Miabelle (Due 12/17).

That will put my children 10 years apart. As happy as I am I am scared to death. Because all I can think about is when one is going to Elementary the other will be going to College.

As much of a helper she will be, it does make me wonder about their bond as sisters. Thankfully, DH and I do plan on having another child after this one....which makes another age gap between the oldest.

Anyways!!! Hiya!

I am also in the same bout. I have an 11 year old son and am trying to conceive. The kids will be over 12 years apart. I would love to have 2 more but I don't know if DH will go for it. My older brother and I are almost 7 years apart and we get along really well, I wouldn't change our age differences at all. So I am hoping my kids will get along that well. (ok I know it won't be all the time )

Yea I am wondering what it is going to be like for these two. Atleast they are both (planning) to be female....I mean US can be wrong ahah!

But 10 years is a bit...raised differently and hopefully act a little different.

Only thing I can do is watch and wait.

I'm know how you feel as well. I have a seven year old who will turn eight after our LO is born in November. We too would like to try for one more after this one. It should be interesting!! I too worry about the age gap...
