I probably will when the baby is older. He's not here yet but I think when she's a little older I'd let her babysit.

I only let Lily keep an eye on him in the house but when they are both older, I will definitely let her babysit.

My husband works nights. Gia (almost 11) with watch Moises (1 year) while my husband is sleeping & I need to run out for something. If there is an emergency, Daddy is right upstairs to wake up. We have an 18 year old that we do not allow to watch the baby. When we both will be out of the house, we hire a sitter.

I love your saying in your siggy, it's so true!

Thanks! I love it to. It's actually a verse from a song. Here is the whole thing:
Song for a Fifth Child
Mother, oh mother, come shake out your cloth!
Empty the dustpan, poison the moth,
Hang out the washing and butter the bread,
Sew on a button and make up a bed.
Where is the mother whose house is so shocking?
She’s up in the nursery, blissfully rocking!
Oh, I’ve grown as shiftless as Little Boy Blue
(Lullaby, rockaby, lullaby loo).
Dishes are waiting and bills are past due
(Pat- a- cake, darling and peek, peekaboo).
The shopping’s not done and there’s nothing for stew
And out in the yard and there’s a hullabaloo
But I’m playing Kanga and this is my Roo.
Look! Aren’t her eyes the most wonderful hue?
(Lullaby, rockaby, lullaby loo).
Oh, cleaning and scrubbing will wait till tomorrow,
But children grow up, as I’ve learned to my sorrow.
So quiet down, cobwebs. Dust go to sleep.
I’m rocking my baby. Babies don’t keep.

It's such a pretty song, it brings tears to my eyes. I get over emotional over my 8 year old. I can't believe how big she is and how time just flew by. I'm learning to let everything else take a backseat because time is just so precious.
