I am currently a sahm. I have an associates in business administration and was a service manager before we moved to MA. Daycare is just to expensive here so I stay home and have an online toy store. Dh is an operations Manager.
I worked full time until 4 days before had Aleyah then went on my LOA with every intent on going back in 8 wks, but then my dad got sick so I extended my LOA to a year, well that came an went and I didnt end up going back. So now I am a SAHM though I have recently became a guide for ChaCha so I make a little bit of money that way
I'm a SAHM - I finished my psychology degree earlier this year intended on going to work once my children were both in school all day and then we got pregnant, so we've decided I'd stay a SAHM for now..
As a side note, Crystal - I was a ChaCha guide for two years when it first started up
I've been a sahm since my son was born. Theres just no way that it would pay me to work, not with the cost of childcare. We worked out that i would be working for about €50 a month after all the costs were covered. So not worth it! and that was with just one child!
