help out around the house? I feel so blessed to have older children who take a load off my back with a toddler and new baby in the house. They do quite a few chores around here and I am so glad they do because between the time spent taking care of small children and visiting jm, my house would be a hell hole!!!

My older ones are great at helping out. I don't know what I am going to do when school starts back. I have gotten so used to them being here. If I lay Xan down to change him and don't realize he is poopy until I open the diaper I can say "Hey Zach, will you go grab the wipes?" They also help by washing their own dishes, putting their laundry up, etc.

Jessie does help around the house. She cleans her room and she will clean anything that I ask her to do. She loves doing dishes.

Sarah does the dishwasher and James does the grass and trash. That's the scope of their help around the house. They do however, help a great deal with Daniel. Sarah even does diapers, but James won't do those.

Mine don't help out as much as I would like but they do help just a little, usually if I have to ask them.

My older boys are smitten with their baby brother so they are always on hand to hold him or fetch something he needs. As far as housework goes they do help quite a bit.

Yes! I'm lucky to have 3 great helpers, and sometimes Nick helps to.

Oh a little. My 81/2 year old empties the dish washer, wipes things down and swifter sweeps the floors. Both my older 2 help out w/baby when needed. So yeah, I guess they are big helps.
