How has it been for you ? My kids will be 18 yrs old and 14 yrs old and suprise im due in July ! Is it hard to having new baby after so many years? How did the kids take to having a brand new sibling when they are older teens? my 14 yr old is over the moon she wants to be apart of everything which I will let her I feel she can handle it. My son decided to go live with his spriteful pos father and since he moved he wont allow him to see me. I guess he found out and isnt happy. Well hes almost 18 I can see why hes not excited. I wasn't going to tell him til after the baby came but he seen it on my sisters fb.

Both my kids are really excited im really proud of them. Im just afraid as they grow up they will drift apart since one is already will be 18 and my 2nd will be 18 when baby is 3 1/2.

I am so sorry you are/were dealing with this. Your son may just need some time to process everything. When I was 13 my mom had my little sister and at first, I wasn't happy but then when she came, I loved it and now our relationship is great! My own children are soon to be 14 and 9 which is quite an age gap but not too bad, but DH and I are TTC again and I am worried the same as you. I know my daughter won't be too worried about it or it won't bother her, but I am not 100% for sure about my son and how he will feel. After we have baby #3 I would like to have another 2-3 years later because with my children they tended to have the 'only child syndrome' and I really didn't want that for baby #3. GL and hope everything works out for you!
