Good Morning Ladies. I hope you have a wonderful day today.

QOTD:
Do your children like bathtime?

When I was talking to Shawn he said Brandon hated baths. I remember when Brandon was like 10 we told him to go get a bath and he ran the shower for like 20 minutes. When he came out his hair wasn't even wet.

Annika on the other hand LOVES bathtime. She has learned to "wash" with a washcloth. Of course I give her the inital wash down.

My older DS sounds like your Brandon. LOL He will be in the shower forever and his back and hair isn't even wet. Or he's in there and I know he's just standing or sitting under the shower spray, kinda sleeping. In the mornings, I'm so fed up with him taking so long and being almost late for school that when he gets in the shower I start the dishwasher and do a load of clothes in the washer in hot water!!! LOL I figure if he's gonna drain the hot water heater anyway, I'll help speed along the process. His showers have become shorter now!! LOL

Sometimes if my toddler is overly agitated and throwing one tantrum after another, I put him in the tub with some toys, even in the middle of the afternoon, and it seems to calm him the rest of the day. He loves playing in the tub.

Annika is the same. If she is having a bad day at her dayhome or at home then we give her bathtime. It takes her mind off what ticked her off and lets her have fun.

I don't know why boys are like that about taking showers/ baths. My mom said my brother was the same way. No wonder I always said boys were icky in school, they were.

Ditto with my Branden! He just doesn't like to get wet. I'm so hoping he out grows it soon! On the other hand, Cam loves bath time too, always has. He even reminds me to start running his tub if I'm not on the ball some mornings.
