Are there any kids tv shows you won't let your child watch?

I try to limit Annika's TV time but it can be hard when it's really cold outside. I do watch what is coming on though. Thursday nights though are hard around our house because that's our serious TV night and things get said that I am sure she will repeat sooner or later.

I do not watch any type of the criminal forensic stuff that is out there right now. Justin asks way too many questions. I don't think he really needs to know that people are murdered, chopped up and buried by other people. I want to keep him clueless for as long as possible.

Annika won't be watchign forensics, Law&Order or CSI for a very long time. I don't want to shelter her but I don't want to start the questioning early. After I am threw with the academy and working the road I am going to be real careful about what I say when I'm at home. When a deputy friend of mine and I are talking work related stuff while I'm at home I go out on the porch. I know she's till young right now but figure I'll get in the habit early.

Mattie is starting to turn towards the TV when he is being fed. I have turned it onto Noggin a couple of times and I think he likes the colors of the cartoons. Once he got really excited by backyardigans. I prefer the good old standard Sesame Street myself!!

Annika likes the Backyardigans for the singing and she also likes Clue's Clues. They both drive me nuts because I end up with the songs stuck in my head.
