My grandparents would take one kid a summer up north fishing each summer. The weird thing was that each time they took a girl, they would end up getting their first AF. I am the oldest and got it when I was 14. Then it happened to the next 7 girls!! My cousins stopped going when one of them was 8 and got her first one when she went!! None of my aunt and uncles would let the little ones go after that.
I love going with my dad. It's been a long time though.[/b]
Me too! I have some really awesome memories of my dad and me going lake fishing when I was a kid. Now, my DH LOVES to fish, but salt water fishing is a whole different ball game. I'm alittle chicken about being out on a small boat in the changeable ocean with HUGE sea lions swimming around. Luckily the boys like to keep him company and I sure do love to eat the salmon they bring home, YUM!!!

I used to when I was a kid but now it kinda grosses me out and I'm not patient enough for it.

I love going with my dad. We don't get a lot of time together so it's nice. There are times being out on the lake in the quiet just makes for a relaxing time. I don't have a lot of patience either but when you get out there all worries head out.
