No ladies I'm not pregos. AF just left but I was VERY late for work this morning.

Last night Annika was in bed at 9. I showered, read a little bit of my book then went to sleep. Annika woke about 1245. Normally I will just bring her to bed with me, she will nurse then go to sleep. OH NO not this time! She nursed, wanted to play got down off my bed. Well I put her back in her bed because I didn't want her running around. She screamed like someone was killing her. I let her go for a bit because I had no choice. Finally went downstairs, made her a cup cup of water, got her out of bed, gave her some teething tablets then brought her to bed with me again. Mind you it's going on 3 now. She gets out of bed again and goes into the room DH sleeps in. He's like, "What's the Tot doing up?" I told him it was his turn. He shuts her out of his room. So now she is screaming to be let back in. Finally I give up and take her downstairs. There is nothing on late night TV. Well about 415 I finally get her to lay down with me. I wake up at 755! (Have to be to work at 8) I was suppose to be up at 6. Never heard my alarm. To make matters worse I couldn't find my keys. I beep DH to see if he saw them. His response, "Well if you had hung them up you wouldn't have this problem." No **** sherlock! I could choke him. Finally after an hour of hunting I ask Annika where mommy's keys are. She kind of shrugs and toddles to the back door. I open the back door and she goes to the fountain in the back yard. She put them in the fountain last night!!!

Needless to say it's been a rough morning. Thanks for letting me vent gals.

Annika did sleep well last night. We kept her up till about 930 or so then did our bedtime routine. She slept till 0430 and then got in bed with me. Thank goodness because I was exhausted.

to the BTDT moms here.

OMG! I am sooo sorry! Was your work understanding or no? You must be sooo tired.

I cannot imagine ...luckily I have not had to deal with the "going to work on no sleep" issue since I stay at home but I don't think I would have been able to do it the last couple of years. I know just a few times I had to drive my older DS to his DR appointments at the Children's Hospital 1.5 hours away with the baby and he was up all night. I was driving after having no sleep and I swear I was more impaired than if I had been driving drunk. I was seeing double and my eyes burned so badly. I would just come home and cry hysterically as a release from my exhaustion.

I know it's not funny now to you, but it's funny and pretty cute that Annika put your keys in the fountain!!! Naughty girl!! I love the things that toddlers do when the toddler isn't mine!!! LOL

It wasn't funny at the time but it was funny later in the day when the fog lifted. I just keep seeing her going back and forth between the spare room where Shawn sleeps and my room. (I know we are weird because we don't share a room but that is a whole nother story.) Toddlers are a trip. When you think you can be mad about it you find the humor in it.

My work was very understanding. This place doesn't know if I'm coming or going. My Lt thought I was off for the day. The deputies scattered out of the office as soon as I got here though and saw the look on my face.
