I just finished out my nursery. My 1 yr old and the new baby will be sharing this room when the baby is old enough to move out of my room

Keep in mind we spent less then $200 to make this room happen. The crib, dresser and bookcase were hand me downs. The rug was re purposed from another room as was the giant rocket ship piece. The toddler bed was a gift and so were several smaller accessories like the cool stars pillow case and switch plate cover.

it looks great -

my opinion though when the baby gets older move the curtains out of reach - so put the crib a few inches or whatever from the window

So cute!! I love that it's different (you don't see a rocket theme much). Also, you did a really good job of making the furniture & artwork stand out against the wall color you chose. I love it! You got some nice hand me downs!

we have a playroom where 99% of the toys are. Bedrooms are only for sleeping in my house until the kiddos get older Our diaper changing station is also elsewhere- the master bathroom. This is one of the few neat rooms in my house ROFL

The crib is a very nice hand me down. The dresser took a solid week of hard work to make it look so wonderful. Once we got all the spray paint stripped off of it, we were SHOCKED at what a great piece of furniture it actually was.

Wow- it looks fantastic - especially for under $200!!! WOW! I especially love the four framed prints of the rockets with the blue "stars" hanging down from the ceiling.
