http://www.thespacestore.com/sosyliupmo.html a "mobile" i found to hang from the ceiling

I would also like to draw random biology diagrams around the room (plant cell, animal cell, dna, rna, different molecular bonds, etc.

And I would put (possibly) a huge periodic table of elements on one of the walls.

And shelves that have lighting built in (2-3) that has beakers, graduated cylinders, etc. Filled with different colored water and corked.

I would also have my telescope (like 400 bucks lol) set up in a corner...

I would have glow in the dark stars on the ceiling...

And the colors of the walls would probably be a nice blue color and the bedding would be yellow.

What do you think?

and deffinatly some molecules! I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Hi there!
This is my first time posting so I hope its ok if I just jump right in.
I'm doing my 2 yr old's room in a retro intergalactic theme, like the jetsons and kind of cheerful and happy, like Meet the Robinsons.
My son's favorite word right now is 'rocket', or as he says 'Wocket!' hehe
I'm painting the walls a bright sky blue and we are painting funky colorful planets, stars and sputnik inspired signs on it: like 'Space Shakes, creamy & frosty'.. 'Astrobelt exit 12, 2 lightyears'... something like that anyway, still working on it...
While I was searching around for inspiration, I came across these rooms. Perhaps they'll inspire you too.

This is the bedding we are using:

Thomas Edison themed nursery:

Note the colorful beakers on the the backlighted shelf and massive CRAY supercomputer as seating!
Also the chalkboard with the scientific formulas for milk, pee and poop on it. (I am loving that!).

I should mention that Target has this for $20 but the picture wasn't very clear for posting.

Awww... thank you Miss Lion. I will!
Still working on getting the right paint color, I always go too dark or bright. This time I'm testing first!

Hi again,
Hey aheartlikehis, regarding the beakers with colored water you were thinking about for the shelves, these looked kinda cute, though perhaps a little pricey, but a few might be nice and useful too...

Regarding my son's room update:
We are painting the room right after the holiday, so meanwhile, I'm selling of/giving away some of the his old furniture to make room for the new.
I'm trying to keep it light so its going to be a warm light blue with white accents (moldings, door, furniture etc.) and the rockets on the walls will be classic bicycle red, and lime green.

I just purchased this ball chair from ikea for his reading corner, he loves it!

And this is the bookcase to go with it, we are buying next week.
