I love everyones rooms, great job! We will be starting our nursery really soon so I thought it would be fun to post and document and maybe get ideas here. We are pushing it really close but I'm hoping to get done in time. I just ordered the bedding, here is the link
I have already run into a snag though since I just got an email saying 3 of the accessory pieces I ordered are on backorder dispite the fact that they were just listed on the site the other day and they are listed as available. I'm hoping things work out with this set since all the other sets I like are over $100 more. I'm thinking of painting the top of the room a pastel orangish color and the bottom a pastel turquoise color with white rail in the middle to seperate and a border on top of the rail. I don't normally like borders but the one for this set I thought was really cute. If you have any other creative ideas let me know, any suggestions are welcome. If you see anything anywhere that you think might look cute in the room feel free. I will be taking before and after photos as soon as I move my 14yo out of that room. Right now it has dark green carpet we plan to tear that up and put laminate wood floors down.
Ow ya I have a question for you ladies. I already have a white crib and a tall white shelf but I fell in love with this dresser and changing table at babies r us and I really didn't like it in white just the natural color. Do you think that it would be ok to have the white crib and shelf and then natural in the dresser and changer? Would that look ok? The white shelf has tan wicker baskets that match the color of the natural wood furniture perfectly so I'm wondering if that will tie the two together enough. What do you think? Do I need to order the natural crib too or is the white ok? http://www.toysrus.com/product/index...ductId=3012700
