<span style="color:darkturquoise">Well.. I'm due in ten days and we're almost finished with the babyroom. Not entirely, but we want to add some more color and personal touches once the baby is born. We had to work with a very small room.

These are the furniture in the showroom where we bought it.

This is the room we had to work with.. As you can see, we didn't nothing to the room when we moved in. haha

We had to get the old wallpaper off. This is my lil bro Silvan.

My man Maurence doing his share too.

Dad putting up the new wallpaper.

Looks way better..

Painting one wall green.. We choose to do just one wall, otherwise the room would be too busy. It would've been an overload of green. lol

Putting together the furniture

Inlaws helping us out too

And even I'm helping out too.. Sort of... lol

Maurence being happy that all the furniture is set up.

Discussing re-arranging the furniture with my parents to make more space in the room. The furniture is bigger and the room is smaller than we thought.

It looks way more spacious now.

Putting up the new curtain. Different green than the wall.. But oh well...

We've got very wide baseboards, so we had to think of something to be able to put the furniture all up against the room. Otherwise it was taking up way too much space. So we just painted some wooden sticks green and put it under the furniture.

And this is what it looks now

Thanks!

Yeah.. As soon as baby #2 needs a real bed we need to move out of there. The room is too small. I'm really happy we were able to turn it into a nursery for now.

Gosh.. The room is ready as can be before the baby's arrival, so I'm really excited now. The baby can come now! haha

<span style="color:darkturquoise">I'm totally in love with the bath too, it has like a seat in it

and an integrated thermometer and those pumps for shampoo and soap.

I can't wait to put it to use.

Love the colors and use of space!!! And, it was a brilliant idea to put the sticks under the furniture to fix the problem. They make the furniture even more stylish with the green at the bottom too.

"So we just painted some wooden sticks green and put it under the furniture." = genius

I too am just amazed at this. I would have never thought of doing that. It looks really sharp too. You put a lot of work into your nursery and it really shows. Kudos to you!

The green is just awesome...really makes the room seem fun.

Our nursery will be green too, but it's for a girl so it will be a soft, celery green.

Wow- I'm amazed at the green wooden stick idea too! lol It just looks like your furniture is customized for the color of the room - great idea!!

I do have a question about that bathtub, though. Do you bring in water from a sink to put in that tub? And then how easy is it to drain? What's it called?

Thanks so much!
