For those of you who have already completed your child's nursery, did you use just paint or did you use wallpaper borders and/or wallpaper?

How did the combo work out? Did the wallpaper just annoy you, or did it add that little touch you wanted?

For those of you who have NOT completed your nursery or even started it, will you use just paint or will you add in some wallpaper?

Why did you decide to your baby's room this way?

We just started working on the nursery, and we chose to paint. I looked at various wallpaper samples for kids, and I just didn't find anything that really caught my eye. I also felt that wallpaper would be a little more work to remove down the road when it's time for a change.

My baby's room is done being painted. It is Zipadee do dah green (lime green type color). We thought about putting in a wallpaper border, but I think instead we're going to put things on the walls that come down a little easier. Just in case we do get sick of it. LOL

Only paint here, if we weren't renting I think we're probably paint his room orange but since we are renting the walls are a dark beige/tan color, which is way better than white!...we aren't fans of wallpaper.

For Brinlee's nursery, we painted and used a border that matched her bedding. When we went to redecorate her room, that border was a PITA to remove! Ugh, I will NEVER do border or wallpaper.... EVER again! Her redecorated bedroom we just repainted and then hung up wall hangings and such for decorations.

For Izzie's nursery, we just painted and used wall hangings. Like I said, I'll never do border again!

I'm so not a wallpaper fan~ I had to strip 3 rooms worth of it and our old house and it was such a pain I vowed never to put it up. Plus I don't really like the looks of it although it is kinda coming back in. So anyway, I prefer paint.
