I've read that you aren't supposed to use a crib bumper b/c of SIDS risk, so I've been thinking it's silly to buy a whole set with a bumper if I'm not going to use one. But I CANNOT find anything I like sold as separates. All I really need is a crib skirt and some sheets, and maybe a quilt for decoration. I'm kind of on a tight budget~ does anyone have any suggestions of wear to find separates?

Separates! Easy!

Go to Babies R Us, they sell things in separates. I'm not sure what you could do with a quilt though, since they say not to have any loose blankets in the crib with baby. But hey, you can use it as decoration. You can also get the lamp, light switch cover, maybe some wall decor as well.

HIH and Welcome to the board!!

Babies R Us, they have lots of cute sheets with matching changing pad covers!

Also, Pottery Barn Kids has super cute bedding and it's all sold separate... but they're not really cheap. You can find a good deal on everything when it's on sale/clearance though!
