If this is your 2nd, or more child, are you using the same bedding as previous or something different?

Decorating a nursery is such a big part of the fun in having a new baby. So, when we got pg with #2, yes, we went with a different theme.

We had a DD first. If our #2 had been a girl, I still think we would have decorated a second nursery. Our new theme - Jungle Babies - was gender neutral with lots of green, yellows, and tans. So, if #3 had been a boy, the DD2 would have moved in with big sister and the gender neutral decor would have been okay for a boy. But, as #2 is a boy, we have a girl nursery and a boy nursery. No, we won't be going with a new theme for #3. We'll just re-do each room as the oldest of each gender is due for a room makeover.

Well with Logan my DFs mum did his bedroom Winnie the Pooh - behind my back when I was 37 weeks pregnant, with two sprained hips & no money I couldnt afford to redo it, which made matters worse as she knew we DIDNT want Winnie the Pooh.

Were deff going with a new theme this time

Partly because we have to find a new home before the baby gets here so we have to decorate it any ways, but even if we stil lived in our old home we would of redone it.

Were leaving the theme until we have the U/S (8th Jan) to find out the gender as DS & Baby #2 will prob have to share at some point.

Maddox is our first.. but with subsequent children, we will be doing different themes because I think it's SOOO much fun waiting to find out the gender & then picking out everything for the nursery

This is my 3rd baby, but 1st boy , so he's getting brand new bedding. With my 1st daughter, I received two beautiful beddings, and I just went ahead and used them with my 2nd daughter. It felt right. The beddings I had were so expensive, and they are usually used for 2-3 years only. I just gave one set away (still looked new), and kept the one I liked the best, so that my 1 year old could continue to use it in her crib, and when her crib becomes a toddler bed, so it'll be another 2-3 yrs with that set.

I always do a whole new nursery for each baby. DD1 had carebears, DD2 had Classic Winnie the pooh, DS had Leap froggie theme by kidsline, and this baby will have Sea Life also by Kidsline. I wanted to do transportation bedding by Tiddliwinks, but I couldnt pass up the deal I got for the sea life and I love kidsline so it all worked out.
