Question(s) of the day:

If you have already chosen your nursery theme, how long did it take you to decide what you were going to use? Did you wait till you knew the gender first?

OR, if you haven't yet chosen your nursery theme, how much searching have you done TRYING to decide?

I've been obsessed with baby nurseries since before I can remember. I was probably like 8 or something. Alwasy cutting pics out from pottery barn magazines and designining rooms on paper. So i had many themes picked out for forever...but we didn't decide on one till we knew the gender and even then we changed our mind, due to cost. Orignially had a $200 set picked out, but I found one we liked on ebay for $50 so that saved us $150 which please DH!

I think we were going to go with black furniture, but finding a Jenny Lind crib on craigslist for $20 in white, we couldn't pass it up either. (we bought that before we were prego too, such a good deal!! that too saved us like $200, and I'm all about being frugal!!)

I knew before I got pregnant that I wanted a Peanuts themed nursery. The only thing that changed with knowing the gender was the colors we want to paint the walls.

Hmm... Care to share how your doing that? Sorry its just Ive never heard of a peanut theme Lol

Because we already have a DS & at some point this baby & DS will have to share weve decided to see what the gender of baby #2 is before we decide colours but as for theme Ive changed my mind about 4 / 5 times so far.

DF's now decided he's fed up of me changing my mind & he doesnt care what the theme is as along as I stop bugging him about it lol

I waited to find out if it was a boy/girl before we bought his bedding. It's jungle themed & I guess it could be for a girl too, but if I were having a girl, her room would be in ALLLL pink.. nothing neutral what-so-ever LOL!
