I am so frustrated..... I thought that we were close to picking out a nursery set of furniture.... So today DH and I measured the room and we need a crib that converts into a twin bed NOT a full size bed.... I have been on-line searching tonight and there is almost no choices .... The other problem is a lot that I have found on-line are portable and don't look very stable..... I want our little boy to have a room he loves, AHHHH!

Has anyone found a convertable crib that converts into a twin bed that they would recommend or know of a website that has a selection?

Hey hun! I searched around for cribs forever before purchasing my son's crib + other nursery furniture. His crib is Storkcraft & looks like this:

http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=6006619

It converts to a toddler/twin size & then to a full-size as well. I don't think I've ever seen a mini-crib that also turns into a twin bed. I'm SOOO sorry I'm not of much help. You may just have to do a mini-crib & then purchase a twin bed once he is older. GL, I hope you find what you are looking for.

I'm also having a problem with space. BabiesRus has quite a few mini cribs, but a lot of them are online only so you wouldn't be able to see it before hand. I've also found that most mini's can only be used up to 6 months. I think we might use a pack n' play for the first few months until we move to a bigger place, then buy a full size crib.
