Since we are renting we are not allowed to paint or wallpaper so the walls have to remain white, but I still am so happy with the way it all turned out.

the floor has storage containers of the next two clothing sizes, his toys, baby gates and 1 of our 3 packnplays, the top is items for a bit later (shopping cart caddy, pool toys, and some christmas clothes that will obviously be too small by next Christmas)

snuggli, baby bjorn, more diapers and wipes on the top, big toys on the floor and clothes are organized by type

extra sheets and blankets

shoes in size 1 and 2


changing table
drawer-not organized enough for my likings yet, but will do for now

and underneath-blankets and towel set that matches his theme

Very cute! Except may i make on suggestion? I think it might look better if you put the vallance "under" the curtain panels... that way you wont be able to tell that the valance doesnt span the whole length of the window. Of course disreguard if you like it but that just looked a little funny to me

Thanks, I didnt even think of that. I will try it and see what I think. We just moved in and had bought the bedding before we found the house and I was going crazy when I discovered the valance was too short and two valances squished together looked really odd.

Looks really cute! That bedding is adorable!!

The only thing I might do different, is take the bumper and flip it so that the ocean scene is on the inside and the solid (or is it gingham?) is on the outside. It's just how I prefer the bumpers for my own children.

You did a great job!!! Not much longer until you'll have a baby to put in the room!!

The room is adorable- that comforter is too cute! I love the little octopus. I love your crib, too- can I ask what the brand is?

I am not sure if you have looked again at your post about the valance, but I had a suggestion about room deocration. If you are looking for more decoration for walls, would your kids be interested in making paintings to hang in Jackson's room- or maybe some sea creatures in felt, decorated with sequins and glitter and colorful stitching? I think it would be quite endearing, myself (sentimental sap that I am), but it would also be one of a kind, and it would get the kids involved in welcoming their baby brother (this is not to imply that they aren't in other ways, of course).
