I painted the nursery walls today. We had decided to only go up as high as a piece of trim board that is even with the top of the window and the top of the closet; therefore, the space above that would be white. It seemed like a really great idea at the time because the highest point of the ceiling is about 13-14 feet, and then it slopes down to about 12 feet.
I am happy with the paint color...but when I stepped back and looked at it, I'm not so sure about leaving the upper portion white--I still have the blue painters tape up along the trim board. (Please disregard the Scarface poster--that will be gone tomorrow along with the plates on the wall! The ceiling comes to a point at the center of the window/poster.)
The crib and the rest of the furniture are white.
I will be putting some vinyl quotes up on the wall--definately over the crib. Once the lovely Scarface poster (there is one about the same size on the opposite wall too!) and the plates are removed, I think it will look bare above the trim and I have no clue as to what to do.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
