Hi, I'm Ashley, and am expecting a little girl in June. We live in a 2 bedroom house, so she and my 2 (will be near 2 and a half by then) year old son will be sharing a room. However, for the first little bit, she'll be in my and my fiance's room (until she can sleep though the night and not wake up Wyatt every 2 hours) in a playpen. Also, the change table will be in our room since we already change Wyatt on our bed and I would hate to have the stuff in their room, but need to change him in our room

Anyway, I have 2 spots in my room that would be perfect for either, and I just need to figure out which one to put where.

Here's a little picture I made up...

The closet is an open-concept closet, so I don't need to worry about doors.

I figured this would be a good place to ask, since you all are doing placements of everything too

Hi Ashley! Love your picture you made =) Very creative. If it were me I think I'd put her playpen or wherever she'll be sleeping inbetween the dressers b/c it's closer to your bed and across the room for a better view. Then, I think I'd put the changing table in the other open space.

That is if you can't move things and have to leave the exactly the way they are. If it were me, I'd re-arrange the whole room and flip the bed.. so that the headboard is facing the wall that is currently against the bed's side. I think I'd leave enough space for the night table to the left of the bed and put the playpen to the right of it. I would move the dresser that is currently in the corner to the open space by the closet and slide the other dresser a little to the left & put the changing table to right of it. I wish I could draw this out - but I have no idea what program you did this in. I hope you can understand what I'm saying. GL deciding what to do

So, something a little like this right?

I did move the nightstand in the picture though. I wouldn't be able to have it to the left of the bed because I NEED my bed up against a wall ( one of my little obsessions) but nothing too important is on the nightstand anyway. Just the phone and alarm clock, but I don't need to set the alarm (SAHM) But, I do like this design, makes it looks a little more open, too

I'm not against moving my room around, just lazy

Hm... now you have me thinking of all different ways to move my room around THANKS

Haha Yep that looks good! Make Aaron do it! You shouldn't have to lift a finger My DH is great.. he even carries our laundry basket up and down the stairs =) I'm spoiled!

ETA: you could always put the night stand to the right of your bed so the left side can be up against the wall. The playpen would still be close.
